I have installed a Linux vm through oracle virtualbox in my laptop which is also Linux…..i can ping the laptop Linux from vm but cannot ping the other way

At the moment no challenges, and this is bad situation, because no one try brainstorming how this could be possible.
Maybe some kernel student could try separate these as theory first, and publish as academic paper.

gdm pulls a lot more deps than, mutter or gnome-session
It’s not all gdm dependencies
Its mostly mutter dependencies
Gdm dependencies for void includes gnome-session, etc
Which is mutter dependency
It didn’t install when I installed mutter
I guess in void it’s not intended to use mutter as standalone wm
So dependencies are kinda messed up
But it works anyway

Eclipse works on native wayland
At least flatpak version
