If possible, tell me exactly what command should I type in the terminal?
Read the whole error message and you’ll find out

Well that may be the case (I also didn’t run into any major problems with my GPU) but I prefer a company that works with the community rather than one that dictates their preference in a take it or leave it approach.. 🙂
I prefer a company that doesn’t drop a performing driver like fglrx and turn a laptop into a firehazard

I never and AMD GPU and more so since I moved to Linux so I can’t say I had the experience.
Even so, it is easier to address an issue when the community is involved IMHO.
But again that’s a performance issue and I care for other issues as well 🙂

When amd dropped fgrlx and went open source I couldn’t run anything newer then ubuntu 12.04 on it because the amd driver in the kernel caused severe overheating on my laptop if I had more than 2 tabs open in Firefox or Chrome. With fglrx I could have more than 8 tabs opened.

Wasn’t 12.04 released more than 10 years ago?
I am sure things have improved since.

Well like I said my PC is running novideo since 2014 and is still working well but since the community is not involved, it will stop being supported whenever the company decides even though it might still be usable
I hope to get a new computer before that happens
