Linux doesn’t have much when it comes to sandboxing software out of the box sandboxing is when new programs in an isolated test environment and that isn’t even the only issue

After reinstalling the ubuntu 22.04 operating system with an installation stick, my laptop no longer heated up, but had a constant normal temperature.

Now after I reinstalled Ubuntu 20.04 on the same laptop through a stick and upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 within the OS, the laptop gets boiling hot again like the Ubuntu 20.04 OS.

How do I find out what exactly is making the laptop so hot. Because apparently settings from the operating system 20.04 were taken over in the new system?
