I’d do gentoo, but I can’t build on a truly anemic Intel Atom

portage is pretty versatile when it comes to archaic machines

installing arch only by command is fun as compared to any installer (atleast for me)

and the objective is for it to be a super lightweight, ready to use OS for netbooks and people who demand lightweight, but good looking, and complete out of the box, without configuration

you can, people have even built on rasp pi 2 or sth
