Even if one in a hundred machines was attacked in India, that’s of how many that use VLC that weren’t effected?
Is it available in rpm package?
Is there any way to download all of them at once as zip or normally by some code in console?
hi, is it dangerous to install the gnome shell extension pop-shell in fedora so it looks like popOS?
I’m not sure what Fedora uses as its DE, if it’s already running Gnome I’d say no too?
It is like normal ubuntu?
Does anybody know what fedora workstation uses to boot by default?
Windows reset would solve it?
How to know for the files?
Any recs for flash USB and Linux malware analysis maybe?
I would prefer appimage

if they were downloaded before the whole debacle yes, but again I see it as just another excuse to go after competition. Even if one in a hundred machines was attacked in India, that’s of how many that use VLC that weren’t effected?
Bro i want it like same as source code what to do
They have that too.. I just don’t wanna post the site itself since i’m not sure if it’d break rules.
But then img src alt all missing
You’re fine as long as you’re not advertizing
Ok tq bro I will try😕
ok, here it is nishant, all the options for the ‘download’ page of smp.
SMPlayer is a free media player than can play virtually all audio and video formats. It can even play and download Youtube videos. Other interesting features: find and download subtitles, thumbnail generator, resume playback.
I fixed it tq somuch yar it was so helpful to me ❤️👍
No
disregard it, install arcolinux with openbox
it’s lighter than lubuntu, and arch is far better than Ubuntu.
by the way it is an arch based not arch it self.
Yes

Now i can switch to Linux
35.236.159.79 malware
It is new. Always popping out on browsers or when you d like to uninstall a program, but it was calm and Malverbytes said everything was ok, I am not sure, but malware certainly wasn t active, didn t keep to pop out, and then this popped out of nowhere in Malverbytes scan again.
Windows reset would solve it?
How to know for the files? How to gain administrator, ok just log in as administrator in Windows and delete the suspicious files, and then if there is a problem, I will be back.
Sorry, but this is really a serious hijack malware new, so it s like no solution for this, I browsed the web, noone said that anything solved it except reinstall, but I have files personal with photos. And I don t know whether this went to a Linux partition.

seems im late

It seems that 35.236.159.79 malware is no longer here.
It was present on the administrator account, but deleted everything I could on Windows, run the scanner again on the whole system (Malwarebytes), yet it didn’t report any issue.
However, I tested later an application that indeed has another trojan malware, and Malwarebytes responded as soon as I have opened it.
I copied the files to flash and now heading to personal account on Windows, but conclusion is that Malwarebytes is not a deep Trojan malware searcher. I literally need a anti-Malware that would scan the PC from top to bottom.
Any recs for flash USB and Linux malware analysis maybe? ✌️
