Hi could someone help me with a driver signed installation on Fedora 36?
Does it load without secure boot?
I just failed enrolling the new driver’s key, isn’t that the issue?
Why do you want secure boot on?
It has secure in the name, so why not?
Okay, assuming I’ll keep it disabled, is there anything I need to do now?
Did it also fix slow network problems?
i have 16 gb ram a little decent little pc what linux must i install for good performance any suggestion?

Hi could someone help me with a driver signed installation on Fedora 36?
This is the driver https://github.com/lwfinger/rtw88
I’ve followed all the steps but when I got in the mok management I couldn’t see my user directory, so I couldn’t enroll the key
So I just clicked continue boot, but now the drivers aren’t working (not even the default one in the kernel)
Can someone help me?

cryptodanvr 2022-08-31 18:40:10
Kiro 2022-08-31 18:39:27
It does
then something is wrong with your secure boot implementation

Kiro 2022-08-31 18:41:17
I mean, before that everything worked fine
Kiro 2022-08-31 18:41:50
Not totally fine, which is the reason why I’m installing a new driver, but you get what I mean
cryptodanvr 2022-08-31 18:43:15

Okay, assuming I’ll keep it disabled, is there anything I need to do now? About that key and the previous sign-install, what should I do?

Did it also fix slow network problems? I think that was also caused by the driver since the network was working way better on Windows or even now on my phone

Debian is great. I’ve installed it on a Pentium R /4Gb Ram PC. It works like a charm.
