that’s not the same thing at all..

That’s just stable debian including stuff that they can’t normally include, that you can manually install yourself.

As far as I know there’s no ‘easy’ way of installing the ‘unstable’ version of a OS from boot media, you have to install stable first then move to unstable, by choice.

Which is NOT the same as trying to get non-free firmware installed on the device.

I’m on Ubuntu LTS so I’m not sure on all the intricacies of Debian’s differences so someone else may be better equipped to help your exact issue.

In Ubuntu all it takes is installing something called ubuntu-restricted, which contains most of the non-free associated stuff that makes DRM content work among other things.
