Yes

cancrl18 2022-09-09 01:15:55
As far as I know most OS that still get regular ‘updates’ have security updates so.. yes it should.
cancrl18 2022-09-09 01:16:12
As long as the OS is still getting regular updates of ANY kind they’re likely getting security updates in some form.
marzGab 2022-09-09 01:16:44
i heard it doesn’t have security updates so i asked for that
cancrl18 2022-09-09 01:17:02
Where the holy hell did you hear this??
cancrl18 2022-09-09 01:17:24
It might not have the SAME security updates but yes it should receive security updates, unless you bork your internet or don’t have internet.

Ninja Bits 2022-09-09 02:49:20

Ninja Bits 2022-09-09 02:49:29
Easily entertained I guess
Ninja Bits 2022-09-09 02:49:39

Guys I really need your help, again
I basically was just updating the kernel but the update was stuck at 97% and after a while I decided to turn it off, knowing that I’ll have to fix something
When I tried to boot grub said it couldn’t find initframs
I’m now trying to fix with chroot on a fedora live but when mounting my partition it only loads a home and a root directory so I can’t chroot because it has a lot of missing stuff
cryptodanvr 2022-09-09 05:26:25
View the affected drive in GParted and mount accordingly
Kiro 2022-09-09 05:28:54
I managed to do that
Kiro 2022-09-09 05:29:07
But now I can’t complete the update from dnf
cryptodanvr 2022-09-09 05:29:39
Remove old kernel boot to existing
Kiro 2022-09-09 05:30:01
It says it can’t rrsolve the hostname but I’m connected to internet

What do you mean?

Kiro 2022-09-09 05:30:36
Why old kernel? Shouldn’t I remove the newly installed one?
cryptodanvr 2022-09-09 05:30:42
On grub menu can you select advanced options

Yeah I meant to say remove new kernel
Kiro 2022-09-09 05:36:15
Just that?
