Most likely.
But I’d recommend you trying out something advanced first, like gentoo or arch to get an understanding of the overall linux insides and low level things, so you use tools in parrot/kali as just tools and not as compensators for the lack of knowledge.

And if you haven’t tried any linux distro try something like ubuntu, while reading gentoo handbook to get some info
