Do you have your root password?
Did you do something to pipewire?
What commands do I enter now?
Difference between ffmpeg and ffmpeg-libs?
Yes, I don’t see how that could break pipewire or your drivers (Fedora 36 uses pw, right?

India Tech Support 2022-09-11 17:52:41

India Tech Support 2022-09-11 17:53:14

Fedora workstation 36. I enabled some rpm fusion repos for ffmpeg-llibs so I can get video playback working on my system. I now no longer can get audio output from my gpu.
crownivaxix 2022-09-11 19:40:33
It’s not even showing up in my audio settings but if I run “lspci | grep Audio” it shows only in terminal.

“sudo dnf groupupdate core” “sudo dnf groupupdate multimedia –setop=”install_weak_deps=False” –exclude=PackageKit-gstreamer-plugin —allowerasing” “sudo dnf groupupdate sound-and-video”
crownivaxix 2022-09-11 19:45:09
I ran these 3 commands
crownivaxix 2022-09-11 19:45:12
and then rebooted
crownivaxix 2022-09-11 19:47:21
Now I have no audio from the gpu so I’m not really sure what’s wrong.

I have some homework I’m doing for networking classes so I figured I’d ask while I knock that out since the lab is time limited.
