Do anyone know, how to focus an application on linux when it’s on background ?
Maybe anyone know the group where i can ask this question?
Y’all heard about DNF5?
Tell me more clearly, what should I do?
I hit the update command, but why is it still not installed?
By removing it, won’t the encoder installation process be incomplete?
Out of curiosity, why do you use VPN?
Have you checked the UI?
fedora uses gnome desktop (default), so can you confirm once (on notification bar – if possible , can u share the screenshot)?
Yep?

404 means the repo does not exist. Correct or remove it from the sourcelist

By removing it, won’t the encoder installation process be incomplete? So how is it corrected?
– Let’s say you’re downloading a large HD movie file that’s 2GB of data.
– Over a normal public connection, the data usage would be exactly 2GB.
– However, over a VPN that encrypts the data for you, the data usage increases (10 to 20%).
=> Since 2GB is actually 2,048 MB of data, it means you’re technically transferring more like 2,348 MB (or more) in total.
So, why do you use VPN? (need to know your use case)

Why is data usage a factor?

Also I use VPN in order to connect to my VMs on my home server when I’m at the coffee shop or bar working

Unlimited data on a home connection
Nice, in India, normally me and others use 2gb per day,
Data plans also quite cheap as compared to other countries

We would never be able to use an LTE connection for downloading anything here in Canada.

Fedora 37 Beta just dropped: https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/test/37_Beta/Workstation/x86_64/iso/Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-37_Beta-1.5.iso

well 😄 you can use Tor browser for that, without using VPN (secure+ every connection created is encrypted by default [no need of VPN])
anyway most use people use it, even though you dont need it for Tor Browser
