I hate arch installation process… (just tried once in Virtual Box… then never going back)
Perhaps you can try archinstall
India Tech Support 2022-09-13 18:25:47
if you tried to build a rootfs by yourself with tools given by archiso or just with pacman

India Tech Support 2022-09-13 18:27:58

Grub issue is solvable. Not too much of a big deal. Also, it’s not due to Arch but some upstream changes.

its independent, rolling release, recently dnf to dnf 5 got updated (meaning more speed)
backed by RedHat,
Hate it because of less software

Fedora is not rolling. And not independent either.

Releases at equal intervals = no rolling…

Yep, it should be independent meaning it doesn’t derive from another distro. If you say independent meaning it should not depend on something/someone outside its dedicated community, then nope, it’s not independent. So… It depends on what you mean by independent xD
