If you connect a new keyboard, you will need to manually restart Espanso with espanso restart, otherwise Espanso won’t detect it.

could probably hook up udev or even your seat manager to auto-restart espanso

not often tbh, but eh. I do switch the keyboard between devices via bluetooth so it disconnects from one and connects to other

90% of your problems are solved by using xwayland instead (but then you have some scaling issues, but usually fine on single head setups)

i think the heaviest drawback right now is screensharing

portals are not complete
