are shadows still not implemented in sway?
also, is there a conky alternative?
It’s twm, right ?
Can’t I select specific words without mouse and copy to clipboard from terminal?
But how to select without mouse?
would y’all approach this with awk, or something else entirely?

it says it supports drop shadows as border

i used to use sway, but i ditched the tiling wm scene altogether and switched to kde lmao

which I kinda get but drop shadows are not a “flashy” feature. They are an absolute necessity. Everything looks flat without shadows and windows are hard to differentiate

It’s twm, right ? So, there’s hardly gonna be any window overlapping, unless you use too much floating windows. And so, identifying active border by different color should also work just fine. I don’t use any compositor most of the time in my old laptop and can still work perfectly fine

Sway, floating windows have no depth, window borders blend with background, etc
