In which package is startx? When i tipe startx it states “command not found” but if i type xinit dwm (in my case) it starts the wm with a terminal open (i suppose xterm)

I think in xorg-xinit. You can check which package provide which file by running ‘scratch locate <file>’.

Dont use that. You should not use that. You need to run ‘startx’ to start graphical environment. With startx it will start necessary service along with DE/WM like consolekit and dbus.
